Click on the registration link then login or create a new account. Once you are logged in, select the SC WaveGreendale Try-out registration program. The cost to tryout is $25, which includes a t-shirt that the players wear at tryouts. On-site registration starts 60 minutes prior to tryouts. Players must attend at least one of the tryout dates.
SC Wave Greendale Select Level
The SC Wave Greendale select program provides an opportunity to ability group players of similar skills on a team for a higher level of competition. SC Wave Greendale will offer select teams for boys and girls beginning at the U11 age level. All players are welcome from throughout the metro Milwaukee region.
It is important to point out that our SC Wave Greendale select program costs much less than other programs in the area. Also, we allow our kids to stay local and play with their friends while being coached by trained parent coaches who have coaching, teaching and playing experience. While playing at this competitive level, we encourage our players to explore other sports – we do not try to steer our youth into only playing soccer.
The purpose of the select soccer teams are to provide instruction, skill development and competition to those players who desire to play at this level. The expectation for each player is to improve their individual skills in order to help the team compete and excel. Select teams will be formed by birth year – this is mandated by the USSF/WYSA. However, younger birth years can always try out for older teams.
Each team will:
- Compete in the Southeast Classic League (SECL)
- Play 6-10 fall league games and 6-10 spring league games. Half of the games will be in Greendale and the other half at opponent's field. Away game locations will depend on who is in the league.
- Compete in two tournaments U11-U14 (fall and spring or winter tournament or league)
- Compete in one tournaments U15-U18 (fall, spring or winter tournament or league)
- Practice in Greendale
- Practice 90 minutes 2-3 times per week
