OPEN HOUSE WILL BE HELD AT ACKERMAN FIELDS (4875 County Highway Z, Town of Polk)
Please note: All players must be registered for a 2023-2024 Academy Program PRIOR to the Open House.
Check In: 20 minutes prior to your Academy Open House start time.
What To Bring: Soccer shoes, shin guards, water and age appropriate ball.
SESSION FORMAT
SC Wave Washington County is holding an Open House to build teams in the U7, U8, U9 and U10 age groups.
No previous soccer experience is necessary for U7 & U8 age groups.
How the Open House works:
For U7 & U8: Open play, get introduced to the club, meet with club representatives who will provide information about our U7 & U8 teams such as time commitment, tournaments, practices, leagues, etc. Teams are formed within the following two weeks.
For U9 & U10: Intent of open house for this age group is to determine placement for next fall’s academy teams based on playing abilities. All current academy coaches will be in attendance to watch and evaluate kids. Teams are formed within the following two weeks.
While the Open House is happening with the players, club representatives will meet with the parents to provide information about academy teams such as time commitment, tournaments, practices, winter futsal, league etc.
Players should arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start of the Open House to ensure check-in runs smoothly. At the U9 & U10 level, each player is assigned a number. Coaches will use these numbers to identify each player.

SC Wave Washington Couty - ACADEMY LEVEL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to buy uniform, warm ups, bags, etc... separately from the fee that is set? The uniforms are included, which includes two jerseys, one pair of shorts and one pair of socks. Anything beyond the uniform is available for you to purchase separately through Soccer.COM.
Who coaches my kids? We have a deep coaching staff that will be available for your child's team. There are many variables that go into matching a coach and a team. We have a number of very qualified, licensed coaches that will be assigned to each team.
How Many games will be played each season? Fall (6-8) Spring (6-8)
How Many tournaments does it include? It would include 2. Any additional tournaments beyond this may incur an additional cost.
Is there payment plan available? Yes, there is a payment Plan available with 3 installments throughout the year.
